Of course that's just the North American stereotype; stereotypes for countries are created after an important number of specimens, but it's not always true for everybody... The Spanish stereotype would still be a short, rude old man wearing a beret and using a cane, that likes bullfighting, lives in a small town, and is ignorant of the world beyond it including technology outside the entertainment sector. And yet this is far from true, plus bullfighting is heavily offensive for at least half of the population, and most are against.

News: Spain's new gay president (think Bush intelligence applied to a left-wing PoS party), who won the election three days after 3-11 over 200 deaths, decided to retreat from Iraq because he doesn't have the balls to face the muslims. I'm ashamed, and I'm sure the soldiers feel the same. The new president, Zapatero, is a complete idiot, a stupid ass left-winged hippie who will do his best to fuck Spain up. Spain's hope is the High Chamber, who can block his retarded policies. However, the troops will be retiring in 30 to 50 days, at least temporally. This also confirms what socialism is; the first lie, just 6 hours after being approved by the King. Former president Aznar had asked him what did he want to do in order to act accordingly after the election result (Aznar's courtesy was never returned by the socialists though, but that just shows who's Aznar and who's Zapatero), and Zapatero said he would retreat on June 30th if the UN didn't take control of Iraq by then, and now he betrayed everyone and did otherwise.

Zapatero sucks, so does his entire fucking stupid socialist party. I hope they screw up majorly and we get new an anticipated election to vote for Rajoy and save Spain from 4 years of socialist suckage. For now, I hope Spain's economy is separated enough from the government so they can't slow down the progress, and Zapatero learns how to be half decent and reduces the screwup rate by 40%. Nothing will change the fact that he's a fucking moron as skilled as Bush, but he should at least try to be less harmful for Spain.

All i know about is that he was gonna withdraw Spain's troops from Iraq. But you say this is only temporary now. So he lied, get used to it. Britain and America had to deal with kind of crap from Politics for ages.

I agree about the whole bush thing. Too much foreign policy. If he gets re-elected and doesn't change his focus, America's economy is fucked.

- Winning the election being the worst candidate, thanks to 200 deaths and an illegal campaign (it's illegal to advertise oneself the day before the votations, and he did so)
- Pact with terrorist-supporting regionalists
- Give them power and lend them seats of his own (this is illegal as well, and the Aznar/Rajoy's People's Party is already taking legal actions against the socialists)
- Lie about the Iraq retreat
- Make Spain look like a coward out of his own cowardice
- Hurt relations with other countries
- Lick Chirac/Scrh?der/France/Germany's ass lamely and announce he'll let them take over the EU with his support
- Be ungrateful and impolite with former president Aznar who did his best to let him in power as soon as possible and instead of doing all he wanted to the very last day, he planned a smooth transition and regularly asked him what he would do to make things easier for the new government

There are many more, but I don't want to make this list huge.

That's not quite correct. He promised that he'll stay if the UN took control of Iraq before June 30th, otherwise he'd retire. 6 hours after assuming the presidency, he changed his word. Zapatero is a liar, a lamer, and a coward bastard. The troops should NOT be withdrawn until June 30th, that's what he promised, but he'll never keep his word because his word is worth lizard shit.

It's not sure whether this is temporary or not. He said it could be permanent, but if the UN takes control of the situation, they could return. However, would you trust him?

Yes, but over here, I was used to Aznar's relatively good and relatively honest politics for 8 years, and now we get this SoB who already screwed up a quarter of day after being declared president.

This is reassuring though; if Britain and America can survive to this shit, so will Spain. However, do you know why did Spain rise so fast and become the 8th world power in no time? It was because of the Aznar government's brilliant politics. Now things WILL slow down, at least a little.

Yeah, I knew this was going to happen. The country has a huge debt already, and he would be very harmful if he gets reelected. The best for USA's economy would be to concentrate more on itself rather than funding unprofitable wars for some family honor. JMO.
